Located on the sunny shores of Highland Creek, Branch 258 is proud to serve veterans of east scarborough and western Durham.

This website was launched last year in a effort to better serve the members of Branch 258 and to open a new form of communication between members and the executive.

The Higlander is uploaded to this website at the same time it is sent to the printer, so if you want an early look at the highlander be sure to keep watching this site towards the end of the month.

 Comrades,

Our Saturday Meat roll, Pub Sunday’s and our Sunday Brunch are very well attended, thanks to all the hard work by our limited amount of volunteers.
Our New Years Eve dance was a successful evening. We also held our Branch Presidents Levee on January 1 and it was a great success thanks to the volunteers, and the members of 258 and other branches that came out and the Fire Fighter pipe band along with some members of our old pipe band that entertained all the guests.
We held a Robbie Burns night on Jan. 26 and a Valentine’s dance will be held on Feb. 16. Please come out and support your branch at all up coming events.
At our December General Meeting, the Senior’s donated  $1,000.00 to the Branch. Thank you for all your support.
Branch 258 will again host the Old Sweats Dinner on April 15/07 with the plans well underway.
Our public Speaking will be held on Sunday Feb.11.
